The movie
I bet most of you didn´t know there´s a movie made with real actors about Videogirl Ai, well it is, but it´s not very famous in occident (I don´t have it myself). It was released in Japan the 1° of may in 1991, and it was made before the manga was very well received by the japanesse public. The director is Ryu Kaneda, and the actor that made Yota´s part is Ken Oosawa, a second grade High School by then, Kaori Saka-gami made Ai´s part, Hiromi Hamaguchi made Moemi´s part and Naoteru Hosaka made Takashi´s part.
